On 18 January 1926 he and Alfred John MORT purchased 2,568 acres of virgin land in Carnamah ^[27]
     The 2,568 acres was Lot M1613 of Victoria Location 2023, situated on both the north and south sides of the Caron Road ^{[27] [62]}
     The land was purchased from the Midland Railway Company for £1,220/3/2 (9/6 per acre), payable by instalments ^[27]
A few weeks later, on 6 February 1926, he and Alfred John MORT purchased two vacant blocks in the Carnamah townsite ^[27]
     The two blocks were the adjacent 24 and 26 Caron Street, Carnamah (Lots 56 and 57 of Victoria Location 1936) ^[27]
     The townsite blocks were purchased from the Midland Railway Company for £12 each, for which they paid cash ^[27]
He and Alfred John MORT appear to have farmed together in Carnamah for nine months of 1926 ^{[19] [27]}
     On 30 October 1926 he, his father, and his brother Francis took over the entire contract to purchase the farm ^[27]
     His brother Francis W. ADDICOAT appears to have also purchased MORT's share in 24 and 26 Caron Street ^{[3] [61]}
In partnership with his father and brothers Francis and Leo purchased an adjoining 1,500 acres of virgin land on 10 June 1926 ^[27]
     The 1,500 acres was Lot M1644 of Victoria Location 2023, situated on the north side of the Caron Road ^{[27] [62]}
     The land was purchased from the Midland Railway Company for £750 (10/- per acre), payable by instalments over 15 years ^[27]
Farmer in Carnamah in partnership with his father and brother Francis as "Addicoat & Sons" 1926-1932 ^{[3] [6] [27]}
     Initially only he and his brother Francis resided on the farm in Carnamah, however their parents later joined them ^{[6] [19]}
     In 1927 "Addicoat Bros" were reported to have grown 500 acres of crop on their farm in Carnamah ^{[9: 29-Jul-1927]}
     "Addicoat & Sons" had an account with Carnamah blacksmith, wheelwright and motor mechanics Henry Parkin & Son in 1929 ^[53]
On 31 October 1930 all of their farmland, Lots M1613 and M1644, were transferred into just his and his father's names ^[27]
Founding Member of the Carnamah Masonic Lodge No.150 WAC on 21 March 1930 ^[96]

He and his father sold their partially paid off 4,078 acre farm in Carnamah to Maurice S. B. AUNGER on 26 July 1932 ^{[3] [27]}
     He and his brother Francis sold their two blocks in Caron Street in the Carnamah townsite to the Carnamah Masonic Lodge ^[3]
He, his parents and his brother Francis appears to have all left Carnamah after the sale of the farm in mid 1932 ^[19]
Married Clara Amelia DYSON in Perth in 1934 ^[66]
Worked as a Motor Mechanic and lived at 20 Holland Street in the Perth suburb of Wembley 1934-1937 ^{[2] [6] [50]}
Died 26 July 1937; buried at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Anglican, WB, 206) ^[2]
