Won a £1 note at the North Midlands District Hospital Appeal's Grand Ball held in Three Springs on 21 May 1936 [5: 29-May-1936]
After selling her farm she held another clearing sale on her farm in 1939 [P2]
Her sale got a bit hectic with "punches flying left, right and centre, fellows knocked to the ground and red dust all over" [P2]
The fight began over a dispute between two young men over a particular lady, and then brothers and others were also involved [P2]
On leaving Arrino she shifted to Moora, where her son Preston was living and working [P2]
Later resided in the coastal Perth suburb of Scarborough [2]
