By 1919 he had taken up a further 100 acres and by 1922 another 100 acres (Victoria Locations 3339 and 3463 respectively) [44]
He kept the racetrack clear at the Three Springs Race Club's Inaugural Race Meeting on Thursday 9 March 1911 [9: 17-Mar-1911]
Won Tilting the Ring at the inaugural Three Springs Day event in Three Springs on Thursday 12 September 1912 [31: 18-Sep-1912]
His horse Waverley came 3rd in the Pony Race at the Sports Meeting in Arrino on Easter Monday in 1915 [31: 9-Apr-1915]

Signed the petition and financial guarantee in 1917 for the Midland Railway Company to provide a resident doctor at Three Springs [34]

He had cleared 130 of the 260 acres, Victoria Locations 3463 and 3728, and erected 286 chains of six-wire fencing [81]
The 260 acres consisted of 200 acres of excellent Salmon Gum country and the balance of 60 acres lesser grazing land [81]
The Agricultural Bank advertised his remaining 100 acres of land in Three Springs for purchase in January 1923 [81: 14-Jan-1923]
His 100 acre Victoria Location 3339 of Salmon, York Gum and Morrell country was four miles south-west of Three Springs [81]
28 of the 100 acres was partly cleared, 60 acres rung and there was 126 chains of six-wire and three-wire boundary fencing [81]
His land appears to have been sold to Charles F. THOMAS, who owned all three blocks by 1924 [44]
