To begin with his farm consisted of the 160 acre Victoria Location 3390, which a Conditional Purchase block ^[44]
In 1913 he gave a five shilling subscription towards the annual Three Springs Day event ^{[9: 3-Oct-1913]}
Signed the petition and financial guarantee in 1917 for the Midland Railway Company to provide a resident doctor at Three Springs ^[34]
Donated a pair of Bronzewing turkeys to the Basket Social & Dance in TS in aid of Church funds on 10 February 1919 ^{[9: 21-Feb-1919]}
Won 1st prize for Beetroot exhibited at the at the Three Springs Day in Three Springs on Thursday 28 September 1922 ^{[9: 20-Oct-1922]}
Donated 5/- to the Three Springs Saint Patrick's Day Committee in 1925 ^[124]
Passed away at the age of 63 years at the Perth Public Hospital, Perth ^[24]

Died 25 December 1925 in Perth; buried Three Springs General Cemetery, Three Springs (Unsurveyed Corner) ^[24]
His remains were moved to Plot 27 of the Methodist section at the Three Springs General Cemetery on 1 May 1969 ^[24]
