Their three tiered wedding cake, which had been made by her mother and decorated by Mrs Alba JORDAN, took pride of place [5]
After their reception a large gathering attended a social to celebrate their marriage at the Agricultural Hall, Three Springs [5]
Their union brought together two old and respected families of Three Springs who had for many years been the finest of friends [5]
It was remarked that they had grown up together from childhood and had decided to continue life's journey hand in hand [5]
After their social evening herself and her husband left Three Springs amid a large farewell at the railway station [5: 8-Jan-1937]
Following their marriage herself and her husband shifted to Warriedar on the Murchison goldfields [5: 8-Jan-1937]
Wrote to the Three Springs Road Board in February 1937 thanking them for their expression of good wishes for her future [5: 5-Mar-1937]
By April 1937, when her herself and her husband visited Three Springs to see her parents, they were living at Gullewa [5: 16-Apr-1937]
They later shifted to mining at Big Bell before moving to Kalgoorlie, where her mother came and lived with them [P2]
Later resided in the Perth suburb of Balga [2]
Following the death of her husband Richard on 22 February 1979 she was a widow for over 25 years [P2]
She had a breast removed when just over the age of 90 years, and died from cancer a few years later [P2]
Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Gwelup [2]
Died 17 June 2004; ashes interred Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (EC Section, Garden of Remembrance, 21, 71) [2]
