"New Carnamah Business
Recently opened business premises at Carnamah are the Pyramid Tea Rooms, over the doorway of which a pyramid sign has been erected. The proprietors have chosen a conspicuous position near the station (next to Mr. Stoddart's well-known store) and almost on the main road from Perth to Geraldton, and have stated their intention to do everything in their power to cater for the comfort and convenience of patrons, whether of the travelling public or local. Home cooking will be an important feature of the business and special attention will be given to quick service. Adjoining the tearooms is a hairdressing saloon for ladies, who after partaking of a refreshing cup of tea may adjourn thither and have their hair dressed in the latest mode."
