Shifted to Three Springs in the mid 1930s with Gertrude Maria PILKINGTON and resided at the Native Camp on Morawa Road [P303]
Initially worked in and around Three Springs as a Kangaroo Shooter [22] [P303]
He was living and working in Mingenew in 1936 [39: 15-Feb-1936]
In February 1936 both he and his father were sentenced to a month's imprisonment with hard labour [39: 15-Feb-1936] [86: 15-Feb-1936]
     Their offence was "having knowingly received intoxicating liquor contrary to the provisions of the Aborigines Act" [39]
     They refused to reveal how they obtained the alcohol and were both sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour [86]
He was provided with two bottles of wine by Albert F. RAMSAY on 2 May 1936 [39: 7-May-1936]
     It was illegal for Aboriginal people to receive alcohol and after some resistance, he was arrested for the offence [39]
     He went before the Police Court in Mingenew on 6 May 1936 and was sentenced to three months imprisonment [39]
