Farmer of Redbank Farm in Dudawa, East Arrino 1908-1941 [19]
     His farm was 961 acres in size and consisted of 12, 13 and 14 of the Dudawa Estate [44]
     He and his brother Robert were among the very first to settle on the Dudawa Estate in Dudawa, East Arrino [120: 5-Oct-1933]
He was appointed the Postal Vote Officer for "Dudawa via Arrino" by the Chief Electoral Officer in 1908 [86: 5-Sep-1908]
In 1909 it was reported that he was "making excellent progress with his farm" at Dudawa [31: 31-May-1909]
He was also the Postal Vote Officer for Dudawa for the Legislative Council elections held on 13 May 1910 [9: 22-Apr-1910]
During 1911 and 1912 leased, in addition to his farm, a pastoral lease of 5,000 acres from the Midland Railway Company [34]
      The 5,000 acres was Pastoral Lease 519 and was leased from the Midland Railway Company for £10 per year [34]
