He and his brother James departed London, England on 3 January 1923 bound for Albany, Western Australia [203]
On 7 March 1924 purchased in partnership with his brother James 1,784 acres of land in Carnamah, Western Australia [27]
The land, which was virgin bush, was purchased from the Midland Railway Company for £1,452/18/6, payable over 15 years [27]
The 1,784 acres consisted of adjacent Lots M985, M986 and M990 of Victoria Location 2022 [27]
