Advertised in early May 1936 that he had a large two year old white pedigree boar for sale [5: 1-May-1936]
Sold 36 sheep through Elder Smith & Co Ltd on 3 June 1936 - 27 at 24/1 per head and 9 at 18/7 per head [5: 5-Jun-1936]
He needed medical attention after a piece of steel entered his eye when he was blacksmithing on his farm in mid June 1936 [5]
Received treatment from Carnamah doctor Cecil P. ROSENTHAL who removed the piece of steel from his eye [5: 19-Jun-1936]
Sold 25 lambs at 11/4 per head through Elder Smith & Co Ltd at the Midland Market on Wednesday 22 July 1936 [5: 24-Jul-1936]
The next sheep he sold at Midland Market were 14 lambs at 12/-, 31 lambs at 11/7, and 13 ewes at 6/10 in February 1937 [5: 12-Feb-1937]

Following his death his farmland and townsite lots in Winchester were jointly inherited by his sons Eric and Frank [3]
