"Miss E. Perry, of Carnamah, who has taken part in numerous tennis tournaments held in the district in the past few years and was successful in winning the ladies' championship singles at Carnamah New Year's day, visited Mingenew for the Club's Easter Tournament. She did well in the competitions, winning the ladies' singles championship and with Miss Stokes, of Arrino won the ladies' doubles handicap. She also reached the semi-finals in the ladies' doubles championships and the mixed doubles handicap."


From The West Australian newspaper, Friday 9 December 2011:
"Deaths - AUNGER (Eileen Ruby): nee Perry. Passed away 7.12.2011. Late of Goulburn, formerly of Carnamah, aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of George (dec). Much loved Mum to Janette and Merv and mother-in-law to Jan. Much loved and adored Grandma and Nan."
