They reopened the closed bakehouse in Calingiri but couldn't make a living from it so shifted to Coorow [266]

Leased and later purchased the butcher's shop at Lots 93-94 on Main Street in the Coorow townsite from Robert J. WELLS [3]

Alerted the Carnamah District Road Board to the bad state of the septic tank at the Coorow Hotel in October 1936 [5: 6-Nov-1936]
After being thrown from a horse he went to remount when the horse fell onto him breaking his leg on Saturday 10 April 1937 [5]
Following his broken leg he was treated by Carnamah doctor Cecil P. ROSENTHAL at the Carnamah Private Hospital [5: 16-Apr-1937]
In 1941 and 1942 leased a room in Coorow which was used by the Carnamah District Road Board for their Coorow Office [413: page 4]
