Born 3 January 1925 in Geraldton, Western Australia [P2]
Son of "Archie" Arthur Gordon Yarcowie SAUNDERS and Amy DODD [P2]
Resided with his parents on farmland in Arrino 1925-1927 [P2]
He was a very bright child with fair hair and blue eyes; himself and his sister Jean were very fond of one another [P2]
One night he became ill with a high temperature so his father travelled to Three Springs to get local doctor M. A. MAYRHOFER [P2]
The doctor said he had pneumonia and there was nothing that could be done, and also no point in him going into hospital [P2]
His father travelled to Yandanooka and brought his aunt (his father's sister-in-law), who was a trained nurse, back to Arrino [P2]
Under the doctor's instructions she gave him injections to sedate him, and he died four days later [P2]
Died 7 July 1927; buried Arrino Cemetery, Arrino [24]
