     He didn't have much to do with his father and may not have known about his half-siblings after his father remarried [P410]

     While on the farm he cut himself and went to the Morawa District Hospital in Morawa, where he met his future wife [P410]
     It was very hard on the farm during the depression and he had no money to fence his crops which got flattened by kangaroos [P410]
