From The North Midland Times newspaper, Friday 28 June 1935:
Obituary - the Late Mrs. Caroline Davison
"The death occurred on Wednesday June 26th, at the Perth Hospital, when Mrs. W. Davison, of Carnamah, passed away. The deceased had suffered indifferent health for over twelve months and underwent an operation a week ago last Tuesday, (June 18) and although she was not improving as well as could be expected no undue anxiety was felt for her condition. Word was received on Tuesday evening that marked progress was shown, and the fatal news on Wednesday came as a shock to the family and the district generally. The late Mrs. Davison who was married in England, came to Australia with her husband prior to the great war, and resided in Perth until 1933, coming to Carnamah of about May that year. Being of a likeable disposition the late Mrs. Davison endeared herself to the Carnamah residents and always took a keen interest in the social welfare of the town. She leaves a husband and two daughters, Mr. W. Davison and Nan of Carnamah and Alice (Mrs Grierson) and son in law William and grand-son "Billy" of Koorda. The deepest sympathy is felt for the relatives in their very sad bereavement. The funeral will take place at 10 a.m. this morning at Karrakatta cemetery."
