Obituary - Death of Mrs. P. Lynch - Regret in North Midlands
"A wide circle of friends throughout the North Midlands experienced a feeling of deep regret when it became known that Mrs. Annie Lynch, wife of Senator P. J. Lynch, of Three Springs, had passed away at her home in North Perth on Monday last, at the age of 59 years. In addition to her husband she leaves a son and two daughters to mourn their loss. For some month prior to her death the late Mrs. Lynch had been in indifferent health. She was an extremely popular lady in the North Midlands, and in good health was to be seen at nearly every public function at Three Springs. The late Mrs. Lynch came to Australia about 40 years ago and lived in New South Wales for about eight years. She afterwards came to Western Australia and in 1903 married Senator Lynch. At that time Mr. and Mrs. Lynch lived on the goldfields, the Senator then being a member of the Boulder Municipal Council. Later they engaged at farming at Three Springs. The funeral took place on Tuesday last in the Roman Catholic portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery."
