He appears to have resided with his elder brother Denis in Coomberdale in early 1930 [86: 10-Feb-1930]
In early February 1930 he was camping with his brother Denis on the coast at Sandy Point [86: 10-Feb-1930]
After fishing he left ahead of his brother for their camp but became tired so layed down in some scrub and went to sleep [86]
When he woke up he couldn't find his way to their camp but in the meantime a search party had begun looking for him [86]
He was found heading towards Dandaragan and taken back to their camp [86]
Following its reopening he attended the Coorow State School in Coorow from 10 February 1930 to 22 December 1931 [215]
The teacher of the school was his sister Eileen F. NOLAN [73]
During this time he probably resided with his aunt Mrs Mary A. SACHSE and uncle Herbert F. SACHSE [215]
His aunt and uncle were living on his late father's Monomeath Farm in Coorow [215]
In his father's will he had been bequeathed Monomeath Farm in Coorow and the residual of his father's estate [3] [39: 22-Oct-1929]
The farm, Lot M1046 of Victoria Location 2023, was leased to a few people before being sold to Donald MCDONALD in 1940-41 [3]
He left the Coorow State School at the end of 1931 to attend college in 1932 [215] but appears to have returned to Coorow in 1934 [5]
