Resided in Narembeen prior to enlisting in the Royal Australian Air Force on 8 August 1942 ^[16]
     Leading Aircraftman 91579 in the Telecommunications Unit of the Western Area Headquarters during the Second World War ^[16]
     Discharged from the Royal Australian Air Force on 21 January 1946 ^[16]
