Son of John Stephen MALEY and Elizabeth Kniest WALDECK [15]
Left Greenough in late May 1906 and shifted to a selection "near Mingenew" which was very likely Three Springs [31: 1-Jun-1906]
Prior to leaving Greenough he was tendered a social at which it was said he and his contributions to concerts would be missed [31]
Farmer in Three Springs 1907-1915 [6]
     He was the owner of 877 acres in Three Springs, being Lots 14 and 15 of the Kadathinni Agricultural Area [44]
     The Kadathinni Agricultural Area was 10,000 acres in size and was initially intended to be a State Experimental Farm [120: 5-Oct-1933]
Played for the victorious Three Springs in a cricket match against Arrino on 5 January 1907 [31: 9-Jan-1907]
    He was described as "a plucky scion of a celebrated cricketing family, bowled with deadly accuracy" [31: 9-Jan-1907]
He was appointed to accept postal votes for Three Springs for the Western Australian state election in 1908 [9: 28-Aug-1908]
He met Samuel J. F. MOORE M.L.A. at the railway station in Three Springs on his visit to the district in October 1908 [9: 23-Oct-1908]

     In 1909 they were also cutting timber in Three Springs and sending it away by railway trucks to be sold for mines [86]
By 1910 he and his brother Charles C. MALEY were farming in partnership as "Maley Bros" [6]
