They then resided on Salisbury Street in the Perth suburb of Mount Hawthorn before settling on farmland in Goomalling [P142]
Shifted to Carnamah with his parents in 1924 [P135]
Resided with his parents and siblings in a weatherboard house at 17 Boojerabba Street in the Carnamah townsite [P135]
     Boojerabba Street was part of the initial Carnamah townsite, and was named after an Aboriginal locality northeast of Carnamah [P1]
     The Carnamah District Road Board changed the name from Boojerabba to Robertson Street in March 1932 [39: 26-Mar-1932]
In Carnamah town on the evening of Tuesday 14 April 1925 himself and his father were travelling in a horse and cart [9: 24-Apr-1925]
     His father was thrown from the cart after the reins broke while he was attempting to bring the horse to a halt [9]
     He clung to the cart as the horse galloped away however it shortly afterwards crashed into a verandah post [9]
     The harness was smashed, the cart overturned and he was thrown onto the ground [9]
     He was conveyed to the hospital in Three Springs where he was treated for slight concussion and detained for a few days [9]

     Most of the charge passed right through his right leg just above his knee, and his left leg was also torn by the shot [4]
     The incident was said to have taken place at the Carnamah Rifle Range near the Mulliah / Yarra Yarra Lakes [P99]
     They knew that Charles and Florence BREWER were about a quarter of a mile away and one of his friends ran to find them [4]
     Mrs BREWER bandaged his leg and then rushed him to the Carnamah Private Hospital where he underwent an operation [4]
     No damage was done to his bones or arteries and a week later it was reported he was "progressing as well as can be expected" [4]
