Later built a house and bough shed in Carnamah out of what materials were available to him [P279]
His house was situated in bush west of the railway line and south of the Carnamah townsite [P279]
Along with his brothers Henry and Leo, and his sons Freyner and Godfrey, made up a shearing team that shore in Carnamah [P279]
He owned a brown Dodge car and also a large truck for transporting his family and to use when shearing [P279]
