In 1901 was living with her parents, brothers Alex and James and sister Rachel at Craighead in Persie, Perthshire ^[20]
Later lived with her aunt Annie STRAITON, who worked as a Housekeeper, at Little Fortar in Glenisla, Angus, Scotland ^[20]
In 1920 she was working as a Domestic Servant and living at Delvine in Murthly, Perthshire, Scotland ^[20]
Married "Dick" Richard Joseph POWER on 16 July 1920 at Laidlaw's Temperance Hotel in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland ^[28]
Witnesses to their marriage were her sister Rachel STRAITON and her brother Peter STRAITON ^[28]
After a honeymoon at Saint Andrews, resided with her husband in the Glasgow suburb of Govan in Lanarkshire, Scotland ^[P4]
Along with her husband and son Alex departed London, England on the S.S. Beltana on 6 July 1925 ^[P4]
Arrived on the S.S. Beltana in Fremantle, Western Australia in August of 1925 ^[P4]
On 17 August 1925 arrived with her husband and son in Winchester, Western Australia ^[P4]
Resided on her brother James S. STRAITON's Hursley Farm in Winchester from August 1925 to December 1926 ^[P4]
Resided on J. L. B. WEIR's Petan Farm in Winchester from January 1927 to 1928 ^[P4]

Around 1942 resided with her husband and children at 15 Caron Street in the Carnamah townsite rented from Jasper W. GREEN ^[P4]
During the 1943-44 financial year her husband purchased Edward HELLEWELL's house at 2 Caron Street in Carnamah ^[3]
Resided at 2 Caron Street, Carnamah from 1944 to 1947 ^[P4]
Mother of Alex, Rachel and Bridie ^[P4]
Died 1 December 1947 in Carnamah; buried Winchester Cemetery, Carnamah (Row E, Plot 12) ^[1]
Rev. Gilbert S. FOSS was the officiating minister at her funeral, which was undertaken by Henry Parkin & Son of Carnamah ^[1]

Obituary - Mrs Lilly Michie Power
Residents of Carnamah and districts received a severe shock and a gloom was cast over the whole district, when it was learned that Mrs. Lilly Michie Power of Carnamah, had passed away in her sleep during the early hours of Monday morning, December 1. Deceased was born at Blairgowrie, in Perthshire, Scotland. She came to Western Australia with her husband and family in 1935, and they have lived in the Winchester and Carnamah districts during this time. Though of a retiring, quiet nature, the late Mrs. Power had a very large number of friends and everyone who knew her loved her and a vast number, outside her own dear ones, grieve deeply at their loss. Deceased leaves a sorrowing husband, son Alec, daughters Rachel and Bridie and daughter-in-law and grandson. The late Mrs. Power is also survived by her father who is 81 years of age, and a younger sister. Her two brothers predeceased her, one being killed in the Great War and the other, Mr. James Straiton, died at Winchester in 1942. At the time of her death deceased was 51 years of age. The funeral took place in the Winchester cemetery on Tuesday afternoon, December 2, after a brief service in the Presbyterian Church at Carnamah. The Rev. Foss officiated at the service and the graveside."

"The funeral of the late Mrs. L. M. Power of Carnamah, took place at the Winchester Cemetery on Tuesday, December 2 after a brief service in the Presbyterian Church at Carnamah. The Rev.
