Son of brass finisher William Henry AIREY and Ellen KILGOUR ^{[20] [21]}
He was one of at least seven children with elder siblings Maria and William, and younger siblings Nellie, Ivy, Alice and Albert ^[20]
Baptised on 5 February 1896 at Saint Luke's Church at Miles Platting in Manchester ^[410]
He was living with his parents and then three siblings at 3 Ashcroft Street in North Manchester, Lancashire in 1901 ^[20]
In 1911 he was living with his parents and six siblings at 105 Doidge Road in Erdington, Warwickshire, England ^[20]
Milling Machine Hand in 1911, while his sister Maria was a Stator Winder and his brother William an Electric Transformer ^[20]
He departed London, England on the steamship Hobsons Bay on 27 February 1922 destined for Fremantle, Western Australia ^[203]
In 1925 he was working as a Motor Mechanic and living at 15 Fairfield Street in the Perth suburb of Mount Hawthorn ^[50]
Married "Netta" Marie Antoinette STOCKS nee DE BEER in Perth in 1927 ^[66]
He had worked in England as a Fitter and in 1930 was a Motor Mechanic in Carnamah ^{[19] [203]}
From 1927 until 1930 his wife resided in Winchester, where her mother and stepfather were the farmer of Heppleholme Farm ^[19]
In 1936 he was working as an Engine Driver and living with his wife at 6 Turner Street in Kalgoorlie ^[50]
Resided of late in the Perth suburb of Yokine ^[2]
Died 18 December 1971; buried at Karrakatta Cemetery in Perth, Western Australia (Anglican, Lawn 6, Q13) ^[2]
