After being stationed in Goomalling for two years he was transferred to Three Springs in April 1914 [10: 17-Apr-1914]
Methodist Minister in Three Springs in 1914 and 1915 [6] [10: 17-Apr-1914]
He was formerly welcomed at a social and concert held at the Agricultural Hall in Three Springs on Friday evening 24 April 1914 [10]
     At his welcome three local farmers and the local school teacher spoke at the social and welcomed him to the district [10]
     During the evening he sang the songs "The Admiral's Broom" and "The Trumpeter" [10: 1-May-1914]
Initially he resided in Three Springs as the guest of Edmund K. BYRNE on Eastbourne Farm in Three Springs [10: 17-Apr-1914]
    In the 1914 Legislative Assembly electoral roll he stated his address to be "Wesley Manse, Three Springs" [19]
A Concert & Dance was held in Three Springs on Saturday 6 June 1914 to raise funds for the local Methodist Church [10]
     He sang the songs "To Anthea" and "The Toreador" at the Concert & Dance, which was a huge success [10: 12-Jun-1914]
Presided over a social held to benefit the local Methodist Church Fund held in Three Springs on Thursday 30 July 1914 [10: 21-Aug-1914]
     He spoke about not making the war a time of gloom but to keep on smiling and suggested a concert in aid of patriotic funds [10]
     During the evening he also sang solo two good songs in "A Son of the Desert" and "The Mighty Deep" [10: 21-Aug-1914]
Attended and sang at the Concert held at the railway goods shed in Arrino on Friday evening 11 September 1914 [10: 18-Sep-1914]
In 1915 he was described as "young, ardent and a tip top battler" and was said to be a pioneer of the district [10: 16-Feb-1915]
Conducted services as far south as Watheroo, and rode his bike in the heat over the sandplain between Coorow and Watheroo [10]
He was wished goodbye and good luck at a Concert held in the Agricultural Hall in Three Springs on Friday 26 February 1915 [10]
     During the evening he sang the songs "The Storm King" and "My Old Shako" [10: 5-Mar-1915]
Left Three Springs around early March 1915 and shortly afterwards departed for New Zealand [10: 16-Feb-1915]
