After locating water on his farm in Three Springs in early 1928 he had a windmill erected and purchased 1,000 sheep [4: 10-Mar-1928]
Donated £1/1/- to the Three Springs Saint Patrick's Day Committee in 1928 [124]
Attended the Three Springs Agricultural Society's First Annual Show and Show Ball on Thursday 20 September 1928 [4: 29-Sep-1928]
     In the Sheep section won 1st prize for a Merino Ram of any age and 2nd prize for a Pen of Three Fat Merino Wethers [4]
