Known as Hans HENNING, Hans Henning TVERMOES and Hans HENNING-TVERMOES [2] [6] [16]
From The Western Mail newspaper, Thursday 30 May 1946:
Progressive Carnamah - Modern Methods
"Mr H. Henning has a property some 20 miles east of Carnamah comprising 6,000 acres, all first-class country. A feature of this property is the developmental work which is being undertaken. He has equipped a 60 horsepower 'Cletrac' tractor with bulldozer appliances and is clearing forest country (gimlet and salmon gum) at a cost of 12/- per acre; this figure, however, does not provide for depreciation of the machine or administrative costs. The clearing carried out by this method was inspected and was found to be largely freed of stumps, for the reason that the machine generally lifted these out of the ground in its operation. There are 3,400 sheep on this holding and Mr Henning is undertaking a heavy program of cropping this year. The property is watered mainly from bores and Mr Henning at the present time is processing with several bores in an endeavour to locate further supplies."
