Went into partnership with Bill and George DRING who had settled on 2,201 acres of virgin land near Carnamah in 1926 [P37]
Farmer near Carnamah in Western Australia in partnership with Bill and George DRING from 1928 to 1933 [P37]
On 21 August 1928 purchased 4,696 acres of virgin land near Carnamah in partnership with Bill and George DRING [27]
The 4,696 acres was Lot M1776 of Victoria Location 2023 and cost £2231 which was payable by instalments over 15 years [27]
Traded with Bill and George DRING as "Dring Bros & Allen" [27]
In 1933 decided farming was not his vocation so sold his share in the farm to Bill and George DRING and returned to Ireland [P37]
DRING Bros were without the capital to pay the full amount so paid him a deposit and yearly instalments [P37]
Departed Fremantle, Western Australia on the steamship Hobsons Bay and arrived in London, England on 13 August 1934 [204]
His intended address following his arrival was 37 Ulsterville Avenue in Belfast, Northern Ireland [204]
