Borrowed a car from Jack BARRY of the Imperial Hotel in Perth who was in Three Springs on a visit on Sunday 31 March 1935 ^[5]
     She had only recently obtained her licence and borrowed the car to drive around the Three Springs townsite ^[5]
     After being seen driving around the hotel corner at a dangerous speed she later overtook another car on the road to Arrino ^[5]
     The driver of the car she overtook found her a few minutes later pinned underneath the Ford V8 Tourer car on its side ^[5]
     Help was summoned and once she'd been freed from the wrecked car she was taken unconscious to the local hospital ^[5]
     It was surmised that the car had developed a speed wobble and when the brakes were suddenly applied the wheels locked ^[5]
     The car had skidded for over 100 yards before leaving the road at great speed and uprooting several gum trees ^[5]
     On leaving the road the car rolled twice, somersaulted and fell on its side facing the opposite way to what it had been travelling ^[5]
     She suffered a fractured jaw, fractured rib, badly lacerated ear, extensive abrasions, serious cuts to the scalp and concussion ^[5]
     Five days after the accident she was still on the danger list at the hospital and had only regained slight consciousness ^{[5: 5-Apr-1935]}
A Benefit Fund was started in Three Springs to help with her medical expenses, and within a few days it had raised £5/5/- ^{[5: 12-Apr-1935]}
     To further her Benefit Fund a dance was held at the Agricultural Hall in Three Springs on Monday 8 April 1935 ^{[5: 12-Apr-1935]}
     About 150 people from Carnamah, Three Springs, Arrino, Bowgada and Mingenew attended the dance, which raised £17
     A committee of Raymond SHAW, Edward HUNT, William G. JORDAN and Oswald S. SOWERBY administered the fund ^[5]
     Local Anglican minister Rev. Alfred J. TOOMEY gave 10/6 cash towards her medical expenses to the hospital in Three Springs ^[5]
Remained a patient at the North Midlands District Hospital in Three Springs until being discharged on 3 May 1935 ^{[5: 3-May-1935]}
Following her discharge she left Three Springs for Perth by train on Friday 3 May 1935 ^{[5: 10-May-1935]}
In 1935 her mother, Mrs DIAL, was of the Continental Hotel in the Perth suburb of Claremont ^{[5: 5-Apr-1935]}
Married "Rob" Arthur Roberto BOSWORTH in Perth in 1935 ^[66]
In 1937 herself and her husband were living on Douglas Avenue in the Perth suburb of South Perth ^{[39: 17-May-1937]}
