In 1945 moved with her parents and sisters into the main farmhouse and her grandmother and aunt moved into the cottage [P343]
Educated at home by correspondence and was then a student at the Coorow State School from September 1944 [215]
Awarded 2nd prize for Standard III Handwriting at the Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show on 4 September 1947 [5: 12-Sep-1947]
Won 1st prize for a squared paper design Drawing at the Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show on 5 September 1946 [5: 11-Oct-1946]
Competed and exhibited at the 11th annual Coorow-Waddy Agricultural Show in Coorow on 15 September 1948 [5: 23-Sep-1948]
Won 1st prize for Illustrative Work Drawing for Standards III & IV and in the Horse Events came 3rd in Girl Rider under 14 Years [5]
Came 3rd in the Girls Sack Race at the Inter-school Sports held in Carnamah on 30 September 1948 [5: 7-Oct-1948]
