Death Near Arrino
"The death occurred last Tuesday of a son of Mr and Mrs C. Sheahan, of Dudawa in the neighbourhood of Arrino. One of the many difficulties of the settler who is scores of miles away from the nearest medical practitioner is disclosed in the fact that Dr. Myles of Moora was approached for a certificate in this case. As the Dr had not seen or heard of the case he, of course, could not give the required certificate in the case of this lad."
From The Moora Herald and Midland Districts Advocate newspaper, Friday 31 July 1914:
Three Springs Notes
"General regret was expressed at the sad loss sustained by Mr. and Mrs. Con Sheahan through the death of their son and only child five years of age, and the heartfelt sympathy of all is extended to Con and his wife in their sad bereavement."
