In 1936 he was working as a Bank Clerk and was living at 6 Heytesbury Road in the Perth suburb of Subiaco [50]
Bank Officer in Pinjarra prior to enlisting in the Australian Army on 11 November 1942 [16] [18]
Corporal WX34896 in the Australian Army's 16th Australian Infantry Battalion during the Second World War [16]
Killed in Action on 13 April 1945 in New Britain; buried Rabaul War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea [17] [18]
His name appears on Beverley's Roll of Honour [16]

"Births - CLARK - On October 12, at Geraldton, to Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Clark - a son. Both well."
