Married "Mena" Philomena YAPPO on 28 January 1900 at the Holy Trinity Church in New Norcia [15] [519]
His wife, who had also been at the Benedictine Mission, had three Aboriginal grandparents and a grandfather from East Africa [239]

Member of the New Norcia Mission Cricket Club in 1909 [9: 16-Apr-1909]
Their son Alfred died in the Railway Yard in Mingenew at the age of eight years in 1910 [15]
